Robert De Niro and Chazz Palminteri Introduce Their Musical Adaptation of A Bronx Tale

The new show features music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater.

Robert De Niro and Chazz Palminteri have had a long history with A Bronx Tale, taking it from Palminteri's autobiographical solo play to blockbuster film and now, lavish musical. The show's world premiere, featuring codirection by four-time Tony winner Jerry Zaks and Oscar winner Robert De Niro, begins performances at Paper Mill Playhouse on February 4. With rehearsals in full swing, the creative team (which also includes Alan Menken and Glenn Slater) and cast (featuring Jason Gotay and Tony nominee Nick Cordero) took time to talk to TheaterMania about the exciting new production.
