Raúl Esparza, Karen Olivo, and More Play Some Chess at Kennedy Center

This concert revival of the Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Tim Rice musical marks the start of the Broadway Center Stage series.

In the inaugural production of Kennedy Center's Broadway Center Stage series of semi-staged concert performances, Michael Mayer directs a cast including Raúl Esparza, Ramin Karimloo, Ruthie Ann Miles, Karen Olivo, Bryce Pinkham, and more in Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Tim Rice's 1984 rock opera Chess. Check out footage from the rehearsals for the upcoming run, including Esparza and Olivo singing together in "Commie Newspapers" and Miles, Karimloo, and the company in "Endgame." Chess will run February 14-18 at the Kennedy Center.
