Patti LuPone Harks Back to Broadway's Glamorous After-Hours at 54 Below

The Tony-winning Broadway mainstay opens a return engagement of her cabaret.

On the heels of her 2013 Far Away Places concert, Patti LuPone (Gypsy) begins her latest two-week stay at 54 Below, with a return engagement of her 2014 cabaret show The Lady With the Torch, running April 2 to April 14, 2015. The two-time Tony Award winner brings back the Great White Way's glory days with a bill that features a roster of legendary composers such as Arthur Schwartz, Howard Dietz, Jule Styne, Sammy Cahn, Billy Barnes, Harold Arlen, George and Ira Gershwin, and Cole Porter. LuPone took some time to chat with TheaterMania about her return to the old-timey venue before taking the mic, sharing why the intimate space holds such a soft place in her heart.
