Nick Kroll and John Mulaney Say Oh, Hello to Broadway

The comedians and their fan-favorite characters, Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland, get ready to make their debuts.

A decade ago, the comedians Nick Kroll and John Mulaney were browsing New York's Strand bookstore when they spotted two elderly friends buying copies of the same book: Alan Alda's memoir, Never Have Your Dog Stuffed. Kroll and Mulaney were fascinated by this bizarre duo, to the point that they started coming up with fictional backstories for them in their spare time. Little did they know that these two characters, the cantankerous Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland, would become their signature creation. After playing them on television and stages across the country, Kroll and Mulaney are bringing their septuagenarian alter egos to the main stem in Oh, Hello on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre. At a recent press day, they shared their excitement, while Faizon and St. Geegland stole the spotlight.
