Megan McGinnis and Paul Alexander Nolan on the New Musical Romance Daddy Long Legs

The two-hander is based on a 1912 Jean Webster novel.

At a recent press event for Daddy Long Legs, which opens at the Davenport Theatre on September 10, the show's two stars (Side Show's Megan McGinnis and Doctor Zhivago's Paul Nolan) were joined by the creative team to discuss the charming new musical. Based on a 1912 Jean Webster novel, Daddy Long Legs follows an orphan whose college education is paid for by an anonymous benefactor — a story director and book writer John Caird calls "emotionally and spiritually true to life."
