Matthew Broderick, Annaleigh Ashford, and the Cast of Sylvia Have a Tail-Wagging Opening Night

Original Sylvia Sarah Jessica Parker was on hand to support her husband, current Sylvia star Matthew Broderick.

A.R. Gurney's Sylvia stars Annaleigh Ashford as the hilarious and lovable mutt that is the show's title character. But according to cast member Julie White, audiences are in for more than just a fun bit of animal impersonation. The play is about "how hard it is to get older," she says. "[Gurney] took a subject that's very sad and made it very funny."
