Julie White Auditions Show-Biz Pups for Broadway's Sylvia

A cattle call of canines learn that Broadway is a fickle mistress.

After nailing his open-call audition, Alfie, a one-year-old Maltipoo from New Jersey, won the honor of having his likeness built into the set of Broadway's Sylvia at the Cort Theatre. He bested a whole host of contenders who showed up to try out for the role of Annaleigh Ashford's doggy muse. As show biz goes, there can only be one star, but TheaterMania would like to recognize all of the qualified contestants who threw their collars in the ring and tried their paws at Broadway stardom. They may not have made the final cut, but, as Julie White can attest, they left it all on the floor (figuratively speaking).
