Judith Light Discovers All the Ways to Say I Love You in Neil LaBute's New Play

Light and LaBute collaborate with director Leigh Silverman on this solo drama.

Two-time Tony winner (and current Transparent Emmy nominee) Judith Light returns to the stage this fall in All the Ways to Say I Love You, a new solo play from Neil LaBute. The MCC Theater production reunites the playwright with director Leigh Silverman, who staged LaBute's The Way We Get By in 2015, and gives Light the long-desired opportunity to work with both. At a recent press day, the trio sat down to discuss the work, which tells the story of a woman who made a difficult choice in her life, and the ramifications that came with it.
