Jake Gyllenhaal and Ruth Wilson Celebrate the Broadway Opening of Constellations

A pair of lauded screen actors make their Broadway debuts.

Academy Award nominee Jake Gyllenhaal and Golden Globe Award winner Ruth Wilson opened the Broadway production of Nick Payne's abstract two-hander Constellations last evening at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. The pair costar in the mind-bending play, set across the quantum multiverse where their characters' relationship is seen traveling down many different parallel paths. TheaterMania caught up with the actors after the opening-night performance to chat about the show, as well as their special onstage rapport. Gyllenhaal also had a few admittedly earnest words to say on behalf of the playwright who gave him his Broadway debut.
