In Case You Missed It: Bernadette Peters, Jeremy Jordan, and More Sing Sondheim in A Bed and a Chair

The one-weekend-only New York City Center Encores! event was a collaboration with Wynton Marsalis and Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Broadway favorites Bernadette Peters, Jeremy Jordan, Norm Lewis, jazz singer Cyrille Aimée, and dancers Elizabeth Parkinson, Meg Gillantine, Tyler Hanes, and Grasan Kingsberry took the stage at New York City Center to star in A Bed and a Chair: A New York Love Affair for one weekend only. The Encores! special event, directed by John Doyle, featured the music of Stephen Sondheim reworked and performed by Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Since you probably missed it, we’ve compiled some of our favorite moments, from Peters nailing “Broadway Baby” to Jordan’s high note at the end of “Giants in the Sky.”
