Elizabeth Stanley and Andrew Samonsky Take The Bridges of Madison County on the Road

The touring production of Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman's Broadway musical kicks off in Des Moines, Iowa.

The universal message of "love is always better" will be heard onstage once again beginning November 28, when Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman's musical The Bridges of Madison County kicks off its national tour. Broadway vets Elizabeth Stanley and Andrew Samonsky lead the company of the production, which will make stops in Des Moines, Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and several other cities. TheaterMania caught up with the stars and scribes in the rehearsal room to discuss the heavy emotion and beautiful music of Brown's Tony-winning score, and the reasons why Bridges is the perfect show for audiences across the country.
