Danny Burstein, Sheldon Harnick, on the Tradition of Broadway's Fiddler on the Roof

Alexandra Silber, Melanie Moore, Samantha Massell, and more talk to TheaterMania on opening night.

It was an emotional Broadway opening for the stars Bartlett Sher's new production of Fiddler on the Roof. There were many reasons why. For leading man Danny Burstein, it was the chance for him to prove that Tevye is the role he's born to play. For Samantha Massell, who takes on the role of Hodel, it was about the realization that she is starring on Broadway in a musical that means so much to her. And for Sheldon Harnick, the show's 91-year-old lyricist, it was the chance to see his beloved musical back on the Great White Way for the sixth time. They, along with fellow Fiddler family members, shared their profound feelings with TheaterMania at the show's after-party.
