Chicago Gets Ready to Celebrate 20 Years on Broadway With Free Central Park Concert

The SummerStage event is helmed by the production's director, Walter Bobbie.

The current cast of Broadway's Chicago will take the outdoor stage in Central Park's Rumsey Playfield on August 31 to present a free SummerStage concert, and today they were hard at work prepping for the event. TheaterMania visited the Ambassador Theatre to catch a glimpse of rehearsal (featuring the kids of Camp Broadway) and discuss the concert, which celebrates Chicago's upcoming 20th anniversary, with producer Barry Weissler and director Walter Bobbie.
