Bradley Cooper, James Lipton, Alyssa Milano, and More Talk The Elephant Man on Opening Night

Hear what the stars of the new Broadway revival have to say about Bernard Pomerance's timely drama.

When Bradley Cooper was a student at the Actors Studio, his thesis project was a production of Bernard Pomerance's The Elephant Man, in which he played the leading role of John Merrick. Cut to many years later: Cooper, now an internationally known movie star, is returning to Broadway to play that role in Scott Ellis' revival of the drama at the Booth Theatre. On his opening night, Cooper and his costars, Patricia Clarkson, Alessandro Nivola, and Anthony Heald, shared their feelings on the importance of this play, while the VIP guests, a list that included Alyssa Milano, Rose Byrne, and Cooper's professor, James Lipton, told us why they were most looking forward to seeing the show.
