Beth Behrs and the Cast of A Funny Thing Happened... Welcome Us to the Gynecological Oncology Unit

Halley Feiffer's new dark comedy is directed by Trip Cullman.

Beth Behrs, star of CBS' Two Broke Girls, makes her New York stage debut in Halley Feiffer's new comedy with the longwinded title A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Gynecologic Oncology Unit at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center of New York. The play follows a twentysomething comedian (Behrs) and a middle-aged near-divorcé (Erik Lochtefeld) who strike up a relationship while their cancer-stricken mothers share a hospital room. Performances begin at MCC's Lucille Lortel Theatre on May 19. But before the production hits the stage, take a look at what the cast and creative team had to say about the vital new piece.
