Behind the Scenes of the U.K. Premiere of The Scottsboro Boys With John Kander and Susan Stroman

This TheaterMania/WhatsOnStage exclusive video also includes interviews with Colman Domingo, Forrest McClendon, and more.

Despite a short run, John Kander, Fred Ebb, and David Thompson's The Scottsboro Boys was one of the most decorated Broadway shows in recent history. Now, the award-winning musical with a very American story is headed to London, where it will play at the Young Vic from October 18-November 23. The cast will be led by its Tony-nominated Broadway stars Colman Domingo and Forrest McClendon. Original director and choreographer Susan Stroman will again take the helm. In this video, created by TheaterMania for sister company WhatsOnStage and the Old Vic, Kander, Stroman, Domingo, McClendon, and the rest of the cast talk about the show's London premiere and about taking part in one of the final collaborations of legendary Broadway writing partners John Kander and Fred Ebb.
