"Nobody Puts Baby in a Corner": Dirty Dancing the Musical Takes the Stage

Fans of the 1987 film will soon be able to swoon over the famous love story in person.

Johnny Castle and Frances "Baby" Houseman are going from the screen to the stage in the upcoming North American tour of the Dirty Dancing stage musical, launching at Washington, D.C.'s National Theatre on August 26. Samuel Pergande and Jillian Mueller take on the iconic roles — and death-defying dance movies — made famous in the 1987 film by Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.
