An Emotional Look at Christian Borle, Andrew Rannells, and the Unlikely Lovers of Falsettos

William Finn and James Lapine's Tony-winning musical returns in a new Broadway production.

Falsettos, William Finn and James Lapine's iconic musical from 1992, is coming back to Broadway this fall. The A-list cast, led by stage favorites Christian Borle, Andrew Rannells, and Stephanie J. Block, welcomed the press to an open rehearsal on September 13, where they previewed three numbers from this new Lincoln Center Theater production. The humorous "Everyone Tells Jason to See a Psychiatrist" was up first, featuring the adult pros with young Anthony Rosenthal. Tracie Thoms and Betsy Wolfe joined Borle and Rannells for the heartbreaking "Unlikely Lovers," while Brandon Uranowitz helped lead the raucous number "This Had Better Come to a Stop." Before the show begins previews, get a glimpse of the cast in action.
