#Ham4Ham: Behind the Scenes at the First Ticket Lottery for Broadway's Hamilton

21 lucky people can win tickets to see Lin-Manuel Miranda's award-winning musical for 10 bucks.

More than 700 people tried their luck at the first-ever Hamilton Broadway ticket lottery on July 13, the night of the show's first preview at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. There's an added bonus besides the seats being in the front row at the hottest musical New York has seen in years: The cost is only $10. TheaterMania chatted with the super-duper excited entrants and the even more thrilled winners (a group that included Broadway vet Taylor Louderman) about their dreams of being, as Lin-Manuel Miranda writes, "in the room where it happened."
