Betsy Aidem, Judd Hirsch, Janet Zarish Set for Michael Cristofer’s The Whore and Mr. Moore

Betsy Aidem, Judd Hirsch, and Janet Zarish will star in the world premiere of Michael Cristofer’s The Whore and Mr. Moore, to be presented by the Vermont-based Dorset Theatre Festival at the Dorset Playhouse, August 2-11, with a gala opening on August 3.

The play is described as “a comedic version of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir.” Paul Mullins will direct.

Hirsch won Tony Awards for I’m Not Rappaport and Conversations with my Father, an Emmy for Taxi, and received an Oscar nomination for Ordinary People. He can currently be seen on the television series Damages.

Aidem’s Off-Broadway credits include Metal Children, while Zarish’s previous theater credits include Other People’s Money, Miss Julie and An Enemy of the People.
