RE:Perfect Peter
The talent in this show is Broadway quality. We saw it as adults and found is impeccable. The costumes were beautiful, the choreography was imaginative. and the talent on stage was phenomenal. Blessed narrating was sublime. The children in the audience added so very much to the experience. I cannot recommend the performance enough.

RE:better dress rehearsal
There was so much hype about this. Yes, the actors tried very hard. There was really only one whose bangs hung over her face and her skirt was too long for her to walk properly which made her look a little more like Cousin It than an expressive character. The sound system volume was unpredictable, subtitles bland / often out of order and there was no lighting direction. Staging was non-existent with the dramatic scenes occurring over 70 feet from the first row and with the lighting... horrible to miss what the actors were doing and often in a corner which was obstructed people moved to the aisles because there were so many affected seats. The set was juvenile and noisy to move one piece even got stuck and the stage hand struggled visibly on stage. This was a burdensome play, but not because of Dostoevsky. Sandwiches were fantastic.

The sound system volume was unpredictable, subtitles bland / often out of order and there was no lighting direction. Staging was non-existent with the dramatic scenes occurring over 70 feet from the first row and with the lighting... Horrible to miss what the actors were doing. A primary dramatic scene occurs in a corner which was obstructed forcing people to move to the aisles because there were so many affected seats. The set was juvenile and noisy to move. One piece even got stuck and the stage hand struggled visibly on stage. This was a burdensome play, but not because of Dostoevsky. Sandwiches were fantastic.
