A musician that knows Tony Georges
I am a musician that met Tony Georges in Odessa, TX. He wrote us bad checks and never made them good until he was arrested. He doesnt care about artists and made a bunch of delusional promises. He doesnt like unions, either. Minetta needs to check this guy out. People who contributed thousands of dollars in Odessa were told "they would be tax-deductible." The IRS said they were not. Nobody ever learned where the money went. The theatre wasnt paid. Musicians werent paid. Tony left town and worked on this new show "Tricks the Devil Taught Me" using our money to write a play that mocks us. It is shameful. Tony always said "dont worry about the money." Minetta should worry. Artists should worry. Tony needs to prove he has the money to produce this show.

Thats the story. I received a script via email from someone that was solicited for investment. I am going to post it online soon. But, I can tell you its hard to read and/or follow. This is an odd play with an odd history. It isnt very interesting. Hold off on buying tickets even though theyre only $25 if you call Minetta Lane dorect and lets see what happenes to this supposed show.
