RE:Bobby Steggert is AMAZING
I saw Yank last night and absolutely loved it. I wasnt expecting it to be so moving, since many of the snippets I had seen previously had just shown the comic portions of the show. Bobby Steggert is just amazing. Ive seen a lot of theater, but I dont know that Ive ever seen a performance as honest and heart-wrenching as his in this show. A simple shift of his eyes says so much, and I hope this is a star making role for him. Id seen him in both Ragtime and 110 in the Shade, and thought he was wonderful in those shows, but this is truly breathtaking work. Bravo to everyone involved.

So much fun!
I had so much fun at this show! I went with a big group of girls and we all want to go again. Im generally a more traditional theatre type of person, but I loved the music the people at Awesome 80s Prom played, and we all danced so much! Its campy and hilarious, and if youre a fan of John Hughes movies, I really wouldnt miss this. I wish I was a teenager in the 80s even more now!

RE:Such a fun show!
My husband and I saw the show and it was the best date weve had in a long time. We were so close to the stage! I grew up on The Brady Bunch, and Eve Plumb was great.The whole show was cute and funny and there was a lot of audience involvement that was fun to see. The overall story was adorable and the advice books from the 50s were hilarious. It was great to have the romance and be able to laugh about it too.
