old school musical with some mythology thrown in
I really liked this play for many of the reasons mentioned above--great acting and singing and costumes. I appreciated how the play explored interesting questions about life and death: what does it look like when death comes to life? How does he affect the lives of people around him? What happens when death loves life and life loves death? It gave me a lot to think about along with some good laughs a lot of it was funny and beautiful costumes and voices to enjoy.

RE:Bottom of the World
After what felt like a disjointed start, the play interweaves stories about relationships, love, loss and grief in deeply engrossing and moving ways.

I loved it
I wouldnt have gone to see it based on the reviews and Im glad I ignored them. This play was like a collage--brilliant color, writing, acting. It takes risks which is like a breath of fresh air. The story iis an American as the Horatio Alger story but one less often told. If you can tolerate having more going on in front of you then you can take in all at once, and love brilliant acting and writing, dont miss this. Im going again.
