Our historic Victorian building is located at 125 Bathurst Street ? right at the corner of Adelaide Street West. Founded in 1970 by Ken Gass, The Factory Theatre has been producing and developing ground-breaking theatre now for 30 years! In it's history, we have produced over 150 new Canadian plays in mainstage productions and 500 more in workshop and other formats.
Housed in a beautiful Victorian mansion, The Factory Theatre operates two theatre spaces. Our mainstage is a 200 seat house, and our intimate Studio Theatre Café has 100 seats. Both the Mainspace and Studio Café have licensed lounges where refreshments are served before and after shows.

Factory Theatre is a member of the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT), Theatre Ontario, and the Toronto Theatre Alliance.
