An original production by Théâtre du Nouvel-Ontario (Sudbury), translated and played by the incomparable Jean Marc Dalpé, Slague, l'histoire d'un mineur (Spitting Slag) tells the story of a wheelchair-bound, heroin-addicted miner in his forties. The audience listens to the admission of a man who is trying to rectify a mistake. "I am inside a rock where no living being has ever been." They witness the tragedy of one who is being ravaged by what he has always wanted to fight. The frank and intense voice of a worker survives intact, a voice where courage shines like a beacon, of someone who makes his way from hatred to love.

Please note there will be performances with English surtitles on April 7 and 9 (opening night) at 8pm, and April 10 at 3:30pm.
