Dream Machine [n]: An invention of William S. Burroughs and Canadian Brion Gysin that employed flickering lights to induce a state of waking dream, free from the influences of advertising and mass culture.
The Beat Generation of the 1950's threw down the gauntlet and challenged conformity through an artistc and spiritual quest that changed the face of popular culture forever. Calgary's acclaimed One Yellow Rabbit conjures the spirit of these notorious outsiders in this hallucinogenic, genre-defying musical.
