Pamela Anderson to Star as Virgin Mary in A Russell Peters Christmas Special

Television star and stage veteran Pamela Anderson will play the role of the Virgin Mary in A Russell Peters Christmas Special, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Presented by Canadian TV and The Comedy Network, the show will mix, stand-up, sketch comedy, stop-motion animation, and musical performances. It will star Peters, and also feature Michael Bublé, Ted Lange, Jon Lovitz, and Scott Thompson.

Anderson played the Genie of the Lamp in the holidaytime panto Aladdin, at both the Liverpool Empire, and at the New Wimbledon Theatre. She is best known for her work on the television series Baywatch, and was recently featured on Dancing With the Stars.
