Martin Short to Be Judge on Canada’s Got Talent

Tony Award winner Martin Short will be a judge on Canada’s Got Talent, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The new incarnation of the reality TV show talent competition will begin airing in 2012.


Short won his Tony for his performance in Little Me. His other Broadway credits include Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me and The Goodbye Girl. He may be best known for his work on Saturday Night Live, where he created such characters as Ed Grimly, Jackie Rogers Jr., and lawyer Nathan Thurm.

Additional judges for Canada’s Got Talent will be announced in the near future.
