Slings & Arrows: The Complete Collection to Be Released on Blu-Ray October 26

Slings & Arrows: The Complete Collection will be released on Blu-ray on October 26. The Canadian television series dramatizes the backstage trials and tribulations of a Shakespearean theater troupe.

Created and written by Susan Coyne, Mark McKinney, and Bob Martin, the show stars Paul Gross, Don McKellar, Martha Burns, and Mark McKinney, with season-long guest stars Rachel McAdams in Season 1, Colm Feore in Season 2, and Sarah Polley and William Hutt in Season 3.

Among the bonus features on the six-disc set are individual episode commentaries, including one for the show’s inaugural episode, featuring Bob Martin. In addition, the discs include a behind-the-scenes featurette; cast and crew interviews; backstage footage; bloopers; deleted and extended scenes; photo galleries; production notes; trailers; and song lyrics.

Winner of eight Geminis for the first two seasons, Slings & Arrows‘ final season swept the major 2007 awards, winning Best Dramatic Series, Best Lead Actor, Best Lead Actress, Best Writing, and Best Supporting Actor.
