Colm Wilkinson to Perform Broadway and Beyond Concert in Toronto

Dancap Productions Inc. will present the Canadian premiere of Colm Wilkinson in Concert: Broadway and Beyond at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, in Toronto, August 12 and 13, at 8pm.

Wilkinson received a Tony nomination for his portrayal of Jean Valjean in the original Broadway production of Les Miserables and performed the title role in The Phantom of the Opera in a Toronto engagement. Both musicals will be represented in his concert, along with renditions of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah”, and the Beatles’ “She’s Leaving Home,” among others.

The artist will be backed by a nine-piece band with Steve Hunter as Musical Director and Conductor. Joining Wilkinson on stage will be singer/actor Susan Gilmour and cabaret performer Patricia O’Callaghan.
