Daniel Robert Sullivan to Join Cast of Toronto Jersey Boys

Daniel Robert Sullivan will take over the role of Tommy DeVito in the Canadian production of Jersey Boys, at the Toronto Centre for the Arts, beginning June 16. He replaces Jeremy Kushnier in the part.

The show, which tells the story of the hit musical group The Four Seasons, is directed by Des McAnuff, written by Academy Award-winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe, and choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

Sullivan will join a cast that also includes Michael Lomenda as Nick Massi, Jeff Madden as Frankie Valli, and Quinn VanAntwerp as Bob Gaudio, along with Gabriel Antonacci, Matthew Brown, Matt Cassidy, Jennifer Copping, Jade Elliott, Élodie Gillett, Bryan Hindle, Victoria Lamond, Aaron MacKenzie, Adrian Marchuk, W. Joseph Matheson, Timothy Sell, Lindsay Thomas, Grant Tilly, and Shawn Wright.

The production recently received seven Dora Award nominations, including for Outstanding Production of a Musical, direction, choreography, and the show’s four current leads: Kushnier, Madden, Lomenda, and VanAntwerp.

Sullivan’s credits include the national tours of Pirates of Penzance and Jesus Christ Superstar.
