Tom Grounds brings his critically acclaimed show Something That I Wanted You to Know to the 2004 'Out of the Loop Festival' at WaterTower Theatre.

The show is an autobiographical look at Tom's life through songs of the ever growing American Songbook. It includes songs by Craig Carnelia, Brian Lasser, Jason Robert Brown, Wayne Moore, Tom Andersen, Babbie Green, and many others. The show explores Relationships, Families, Careers, Hopes and dreams along the road of life. In one or more of these areas, we've all had a moment when we look back and ask "What was I thinking?" With humor and sensitivity, Tom shares his experiences of making sense out of adolescence, the ups and downs of falling in (and out) of love, and unpacking the baggage of the past.
