Stageworks Theatre will have a staged reading of the co-winner of the Longjohns Competition play, A Tennessee Walk by Orlando playwright, Rob Anderson at the Shimberg Playhouse in the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center.It is a quirky folk tale about a circus visiting a small town in Tennessee in 1916.

A Tennessee Walk was also a Finalist for the 2009 Yale Drama Series, David C. Horn Prize as well as the co-winner of the 2009 Florida LongJohns Competition for StageWorks Theatre. It was a Finalist for the 2009 hotINK International Play Reading festival and the 2005 Theatre Publicus Award for Dramatic Literature.
