Asolo Rep to Hold Town Hall Event December 2

Sarasota's Asolo Rep will hold a Town Hall event on December 2 at 5:00 pm in the Mertz Theatre of the FSU Center for the Performing Arts. The free event will allow the public to meet the cast and creative teams for the remainder of the company's 50th anniversary season.

Asolo Rep is currently performing the musical Barnum (through December 20), a fusion of musical theatre and circus starring Brad Oscar.

The season will also include adapter Steve Murray's This Wonderful Life (December 5-28), a solo rendition of the American film classic; The Imaginary Invalid (January 2-March 1), a new adaptation of Moliere's classic satire on the medical profession; Steven Dietz's Inventing Van Gogh(January 9-April 16), a thrilling tale of love, deception, and obsession; Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale (January 23-May 16); Visiting Mr. Green (January 30-February 21) by Jeff Baron; Murderers by Jeffrey Hatcher (March 13-May 23); George Bernard Shaw's The Devil's Disciple (March 20-May 24); the world premiere of Perfect Mendacity by Jason Wells (May 15-June 14); and Souvenir: A Fantasia on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins (June 5-June 28) by Stephen Temperley.
