Florida Rep has announced cast and creative team information for its revival of Garson Kanin's political comedy, Born Yesterday, to run October 24-November 16. Robert Cacioppo will direct.

Born Yesterday is a comic love story set against the background of post-war Washington politics. It is the story of what happens when Harry Brock, a corrupt tycoon, comes to Washington with his showgirl mistress, Billie, in tow. When her naïvete threatens to undermine his shady business dealings, Harry hires Paull Verrall to teach her the ropes. But Billie learns more than Harry bargained for.

The cast will star James Clarke (Harry Brock), Deanna Gibson (Billie Dawn), and Brendan Powers (Paul Verrall). Also featured will be Scott Bennett, Chris Clavelli, Trey Gerrald, J. Mitchell Haley, Jessica Leach, Carrie Lund, Mary-Margaret Roberts, Patrick Simone, Bruce Somerville, and Mimi Tincher.

The creative team will include Sean McClelland (set), Matt McCarthy (lighting), and Roberta Malcolm (costumes).
