Each year, as a part of its Sarasota Festival of New Plays, Florida Studio Theatre presents three-book-in-hand readings of new work. Featured this year are three new works by up and coming playwrights. Slow Dance with a Hot Pickup A new musical written by John Pielmeier and Matty Selman. Sniper Sniper is written by Bonnie Culver an award winning novelist, playwright and screenwriter. Unreasonable Doubt Unreasonable Doubt is by Michael McKeever, a Florida-based playwright who has had several plays staged as a part of the Burdick reading series.
