Lobby Hero, is a serious comedy that charts the relationships among four people -- two apartment building security/doormen (a slacker and an African American supervisor) and two police officers (one female rookie, the other a seasoned cop on the beat) caught in a dilemma of the moment. Playwright Kenneth Lonergan presents a tragi-comic study of the damage caused by impure motives: jealousy, corruption, racial defensiveness, and a clumsy yearning for honor.

Lobby Hero had its Off Broadway premiere at Playwrights Horizons in New York.

The cast includes: Steve DuMouchel (AEA), Curtis Belz, Cael Barkman, and Joshua Goff. Richard Coppinger directs.
