Mark Jacoby, Jeremy Webb to Star in Sleuth at Florida’s Maltz Jupiter Theatre

Mark Jacoby and Jeremy Webb are set to star in the upcoming Maltz Jupiter Theatre production of Sleuth, December 2-14, Anthony Shaffer’s Tony Award-winning play with Peter Flynn at the helm.

Set in Wiltshire, England at the manor of Andrew Wyke (Jacoby), the play follows Wyke as he lures his wife’s lover Milo Tindle (Webb) to the manor to stage a robbery of his wife’s jewelry. The cast will also feature Robin Mayfield as Detective Sergeant Tarrant, Liam McNutly as Police Constable Higgs, and Stanley Rushton as Inspector Doppler. The set and costumes are designed by Lucille Lortel winners Michael Bottari and Ronald Case (Die Mommie Die and Fanny Hill), and the lighting is designed by Donald Thomas.

Jacoby received a Tony nomination for Show Boat and a Drama Desk nomination for Enter the Guardsman. Additional Broadway credits include Sweeney Todd, Ragtime, and The Phantom of the Opera. Webb received a Drama Desk Award as part of the ensemble cast of Tabletop. Flynn won the 2008 Carbonell Award for Best Director for his staging of Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s Man of La Mancha.
