Coral Springs Center for the Arts Announces 2010-2011 Season

The Coral Springs Center for the Arts has announced its 2010-2011 season, which will include an evening featuring Tony Award and Oscar Award-winning songs, An Evening With Tony and Oscar (March 11).

The season will open with The Ultimate Thriller (November 6), a tribute to Michael Jackson. Also on the theater’s schedule are evenings featuring music by AC/DC (November 20), The Rolling Stones (January 15), Neil Diamond (February 11), The Oak Ridge Boys (March 4), Fleetwood MAC (March 5) and ABBA (March 15).

Comedy will be presented at the theater with engagements of L.A. Hardy’s Group Therapy Tour (November 26), the Kosher Comedy Tour (December 26), and the Capitol Steps (February 5). In addition, Cory Kahaney’s new comedy Pastrami on Rye will be offered on January 22 and Catskills on Broadway will return for performances March 26-27.

Other offerings at the center include an appearance by chef Anthony Bourdain (February 15), as well as Chris MacDonald’s Memories of Elvis (January 8), The Original Florida Follies (March 13), and Get Back! Beatlemania (April 9). During the holidays, the center will present the International Ballet Company in The Nutcracker (December 12) and the annual New Year’s Eve Salute to Vienna.
