Coral Springs Center for the Arts Announces 2008-2009 Season

The Coral Springs Center for the Arts has announced the line up for its 2008-2009 season.

The season will kick off with Movin’ Out, December 23, followed by the annual traditions, The Nutcracker presented by the International Ballet Company, December 6, and the New Year’s Eve Salute to Vienna, December 31. February will see Jake Ehrenreich’s A Jew Grows in Brooklyn, February 4-15, and Luis Bravo’s Forever Tango, February 10, and Debbie Reynolds, February 21, among others. Also this holiday season, The Nutcracker presented by the International Ballet Company, December 6; finalists Constantine Maroulis, David Hernandez, and Diana DeGarmo in American Idols in Concert for the Holidays, December 12; and the New Year’s Eve Salute to Vienna, December 31.

David Copperfield will create an Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion, January 24-25; The Capitol Steps are back by popular demand, March 13; Forbidden Broadway: Special Victims Unit, March 22, will spoof Wicked, Avenue Q, Hairspray, Bombay Dreams and many more; and Josh Blue, winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing will bring the laughs, March 28. Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway brings five Broadway Stars performing 50 characters from great Broadway musicals, March 29, and The Rat Pack is Back, April 3.
