Dad’s Garage, ImprovBoston, Jester Theater Company and More Set for 2010 Sarasota Improv Festival

Florida Studio Theatre has announced the lineup of groups that will be participating in the 2010 Sarasota Improv Festival, to run July 16-17.

Four companies from Sarasota will be represented at the event: FST Improv, Lazy Fairy, Vintage Whine and Kids Komedy Club. In addition, the Festival will feature Jester Theater Company and SAK from Orlando, The Dumb Show from St. Petersburg, and Just The Funny from Miami.

Groups that will be coming to the event from outside the state are Available Cupholders from Austin; Dad’s Garage from Atlanta; Dominizuelan from Chicago; and ImprovBoston from Boston.

In addition to the performances, workshops on improv will be offered, including The Improv ForDummies, Talking Heads Anonymous, and Interactive Improv, among others.
