Chicago to Make Cruise Ship Debut on Allure of the Seas

A slimmed down 90-minute version of the Tony Award-winning Chicago: The Musical will be presented on Royal Caribbean International’s Allure of the Seas, a cruise ship which will set sail from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in December 2010.

Chicago features a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb.

The musical will be performed in the ship’s Amber Theater. The onboard venue will also be home to Blue Planet, a spectacle of music, dance and aerial acrobatics.
