Full Cast, Creative Team Set for Dream A Little Dream at Florida Stage

Florida Stage will present the Florida premiere of Dream A Little Dream, The Nearly True Story of The Mamas and The Papas, June 26-August 31. Michael Barnard will direct, with musical direction by Christopher McGovern.

First conceived as a one man show starring Denny Doherty and directed by Paul Ledoux, Dream A Little Dream chronicles the rise and fall of The Mamas and The Papas, who were the first group to knock The Beatles from the number one spot on the Billboard charts.

The cast will include Stephen G. Anthony (Doherty), Kyle Harris (Denny Doherty), Christine Hope (Michelle Phillips), Michael Sample (John Phillips), Alisa Schiff (Cass Elliot), as well as Shane Jacobsen, Liz Kimball, and Eli Zoller.

The creative team for this production will include Michael Eddy (lighting design), Connie Furr-Soloman (costume design), and Mark Pirolo (set design).
