Al Pacino Set for May 31 Appearance at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Florida

Al Pacino will participate in a public conversation at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater Florida on Tuesday, May 31 at 8pm.

During the course of the appearance, Pacino will discuss his stage and film career. The conversation will be supported and enhanced with video footage of his work, some previously unseen. The event will culminate with a Q&A session with the audience.

Pacino recently starred on Broadway as Shylock in The Merchant of Venice. He is a two-time Tony Award winner for his work in Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie? and The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel. His other Broadway appearances include American Buffalo, Hughie, and Salome.

He is an eight-time Oscar nominee, winning for Scent of a Woman. His many films include The Godfather trilogy, Dog Day Afternoon, Glengarry Glen Ross, and Frankie and Johnny, and he won the Emmy Award for his portrayal of Roy Cohn in HBO’s miniseries version of Angels in America.
