Jack James and Katie Angell Thomas to Star in Makeover

Jack James and Katie Angell Thomas will star in Hollywood Playhouse’s world premiere of Makeover, a new musical by playwright Mark Poncy. Directed by Peter Lowey, the show will open May 2 and is expected to run through early-June.

Makeover takes the contemporary theme of plastic surgery gone awry to explore the struggle between good and evil. This comes together when Valerie unwittingly makes a deal with the devil in order to realize her dreams of being beautiful, loosing site of her inner beauty.

Thomas will play Valerie and James will play multiple characters (Lucifer, Dr. Firme La Touche). The rest of the cast will be announced at a later date.
