Gilles Marini to Host Ballroom with a Twist at Fort Lauderdale’s Parker Playhouse

Gilles Marini will host Ballroom with a Twist when it plays the Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale, March 20-21. Dancing with the Stars‘ Louis van Amstel has conceived and directed the production.

The show is an extravagant evening of dance, from ballroom to hip-hop stylings, and song. The cast will features Allison Holker of High School Musical and So You Think You Can Dance, along with an ensemble of 14 dancers. Vocals will be provided by American Idol alumni David Hernandez and Trenyce.

Marini is perhaps best known as Luc Laurent on ABC’s Brothers & Sisters as well as his second-place finish on season eight of Dancing with the Stars. On screen he has been seen in such films as Sex and the City: The Movie, One and the Other (L’Une et L’Autre), and The Boys & Girls Guide to Getting Down.
