Tony nominee Maureen Anderman will host a reading of Mark St. Germain’s Freud’s Last Session, at Palm Beach Dramworks, March 30 & 31.

The play centers on legendary psychiatrist Dr. Sigmund Freud, who invites a young, little known professor, C.S. Lewis, to his home in London. Lewis, expecting to be called on the carpet for satirizing Freud in a recent book, soon realizes Freud has a much more significant agenda. A post-show discussion with Germain will follow each presentation.

St. Germain’s plays include Camping with Henry and Tom (Outer Critics Circle Award and Lucille Lortel Award), The God Committee, Forgiving Typhoid Mary, and Out of Gas on Lovers Leap. Anderman received a Tony Award nomination for The Lady from Dubuque and also starred on Broadway in Seascape and Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
