Pamela Myers and Harvey Evans to Star in Jacksonville Hello, Dolly! Concert

Pamela Myers and Harvey Evans will headline Theatre Jacksonville’s Hello, Dolly! concert, to be presented at the Harold K. Smith Playhouse on February 14 at 8 pm. Jean Tait will direct, with musical direction by Eugene Gwozdz and choral direction by Rachel Clifton.

Based on Thornton Wilder’s play The Matchmaker, the show features music and lyrics by Jerry Herman and a book by Michael Stewart. The cast will also include Sarah Boone, Michael Lipp, and Juan Unzueta.

Myers, who will play Dolly Levi, received a Tony nomination for Company, and was most recently seen on Broadway in Into the Woods. Evans, who will play Horace Vandergelder, appeared in the original Broadway companies of New Girl In Town, West Side Story, Redhead, Gypsy, Anyone Can Whistle, George M!, The Boy Friend, and Follies.
