Synopsis

This tribute to small town America features the story of a smooth talking conman who hoodwinks the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize, despite the fact he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. With book, music, and lyrics by Meredith Wilson, The Music Man includes such sing-a-long favorites as "76 Trombones," "Till There Was You," "Trouble," and "Pickalittle."
